Solis at the University of Wisconsin, Madison is a group for women and gender minorities in plasma physics! To celebrate fusion energy week, we are going to four high schools in the Madison-Milwaukee area to share with students how we make a star in a jar. For this event we have an introduction to fusion discussion on the science and technology that is moving us closer to fusion energy. We also have some super cool plasma demonstrations for students to explore!
