To mark Fusion Week 2026, the Swiss Plasma Center at EPFL is launching Fusion & Donuts, a short video series designed to make fusion accessible to everyone. Six researchers and PhD students answer five essential questions, from what plasma actually is, to what is a tokamak and what is fusion. Each episode runs around 90 seconds and was filmed in a natural, light-hearted spirit, showing that fusion research is driven by passionate, approachable humans. The series is released daily from May 4 to 8 on Instagram, with a full-length version available on YouTube and LinkedIn. Because yes, understanding fusion should be as enjoyable as eating a donut.
