All are welcome to attend a briefing on Capitol Hill entitled “Pioneering Partnerships to Accelerate Commercial Fusion Energy” to be held on Thursday, May 9th, from 2pm to 3:30pm in 2325 Rayburn House Office Building.  Discussion will focus on how achieving the mission of commercial fusion energy will require every part of the fusion energy ecosystem – including universities, national labs, industry, community groups, international partners, and more. 

Heather Jackson, Technology to Market Advisor at ARPA-E, will moderate the panel which includes the following fusion energy experts:

  • Scott Hsu – Senior Advisor and Lead Fusion Coordinator, U.S. Dept. of Energy
  • Susana Reyes – VP for Chamber and Plant Design, Xcimer Energy Corporation
  • Steffi Diem – Asst. Professor at UW-Madison, PI of the Pegasus-III Experiment & U.S. Science Envoy 
  • Arturo Dominguez – Head of Science Education, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory
