Open to public lab tours of two plasma labs (Magnetized Plasma Research Laboratory and the Compact Toroidal Hybrid) at Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama. We are hosting an Annual Meeting of the NSF-EPSCOR sponsored Alabama wide plasma consortium called FTPP (https://alabamaphysics.com/ftpp-annual-meeting-2026/) from May 06 - 08. We will be hosting students and faculty from 10 universities from all over Alabama and will take this opportunity to show our fusion related labs on May 06. We are expecting about 100 people and also opening this to the community.
